Our Story
The Story of Sabhet Jidde
Sabhet Jidde was born from a love story. We are two young Lebanese people who fell in love despite coming from different religious backgrounds. While our traditions may differ, we discovered something beautiful that we shared: the tasbeeh (masbaha). In both of our faiths, it is a symbol of remembrance, reflection, and prayer. It became a reminder that faith has the power to unite rather than divide, and that love knows no boundaries.
This shared belief inspired us to create Sabhet Jeddi—a brand that celebrates connection, respect, and the values that bring people together. Every masbaha we create is a reflection of our belief that spirituality, kindness, and love belong to all humanity.
The name Sabhet Jidde, meaning "My Grandfather's Tasbeeh," is a tribute to our ancestors. Growing up in Lebanon, some of our earliest memories are of watching our grandfathers gently moving their masbahas through their hands while praying, reflecting, or simply sitting with family. Those moments represent wisdom, peace, and the traditions passed from one generation to the next.
Our roots in Lebanon are at the heart of everything we do. Through each piece, we honor our heritage, preserve the beauty of our culture, and carry a small piece of home wherever life takes us.
At Sabhet Jidde, every masbaha tells a story—of faith, family, heritage, and above all, the belief that what unites us will always be stronger than what separates us.
